Using AnyDesk or TeamViewer in Windows safe mode

Is it possible to reboot your machine into safe mode using AnyDesk or TeamViewer. Please have an alternative ready incase these methods do not work.

AnyDesk

AnyDesk provides the ability to restart the remote device into safe mode with network drivers.

To do so, simply go to Actions>Restart remote device>Restart in safe mode

Requirements

AnyDesk must be installed or elevated on the remote device to perform a remote restart.
The remote client must have this feature enabled. See Settings>Security>Restart my device needs a checkmark

Limitations

Wireless network adapters don’t always work in safe mode so an ethernet connection is recommended for the remote device.

TeamViewer

You can use TeamViewer to reboot the remote system into safe mode.

Actions>Reboot>Reboot in safe mode
