Open batches when processing Sage Pastel year end

Are you gettin the error message

You surrently have open batches. The year end procedure will not run if you have any open batches. etc

Fix Open Batches

  • Close Pastel
  • In Windows Explorer browse to your company folder
  • Search for each of the following in turn and move them to another location [just in case]
    • accbtn*.*
    • accbsj*.*
    • acctgrid*.*
    • accsjctl*.*
  • Also search for accbtr*.* which is recurring batches, if found, rename the files by adding a .old to the current name
  • Open Sage Pastel and try your year end as normal.

Alternate method

  • Close Pastel
  • In Windows Explorer browse to your company folder
  • Search for *.0
  • Look for the following files from the list that displays
    • accbtn
    • accbtr
    • accbtp
    • accbsj
    • acctgrid
    • accsjctl
  • Select and then ZIP them or move them to another folder
