Are you getting the error message
You currently have open batches. The year end procedure will not run if you have any open batches. etc
Fix Open Batches
- Close Pastel
- In Windows Explorer browse to your company folder
- Search for each of the following in turn and move them to another location [just in case]
- accbtn*.*
- accbsj*.*
- acctgrid*.*
- accsjctl*.*
- Also search for accbtr*.* which is recurring batches, if found, rename the files by adding a .old to the current name
- Open Sage Pastel and try your year end as normal.
Alternate method
- Close Pastel
- In Windows Explorer browse to your company folder
- Search for *.0
- Look for the following files from the list that displays
- accbtn
- accbtr
- accbtp
- accbsj
- acctgrid
- accsjctl
- Select and then ZIP them or move them to another folder
