How you manage companies on your server & workstations in Sage Pastel Xpress/Partner.
Adding a company on the server or stand-alone PC
- Click File>Open
- Click Manage and then Add Company
- Double-click on the Xpress/Partner folder on the C: Drive
- Browse for your new company and double-click on it
- Click OK and then Close – the company you added should appear in your company list
Activating a Company on the Workstation:
- Click File>Open
- Click Manage
- You should see a list of companies with red crosses next to them
- Select a company and then click Activate Company
- Browse to your server’s mapped drive, usually P:\
- Double-click on the XpressXX or PartnerXX folder, then double-click on the company that you need to activate
- Click OK and then Close
- Your company will appear in the Open a Company screen
- Highlight the company and click Open
