When trying to send invoices from Sage Pastel do you get a pop-up saying A program is trying to access e-mail address information stored in Outlook. If this is unexpected, click Deny and verify your antivirus software is up-to-date. For more information about email safety and how you might be able to avoid getting this warning, click Help.
You are then able to select a time up to 10 minutes and Allow
Resolution
This can potentially be resolved through updating your antivirus or uninstalling an old, no longer licensed AV package.
The following is done at your own risk. It is potentially hazardous if you don’t keep your AV up-to-date.
Open Outlook as administrator, go to File>Options>Trust Center menu item, and then click on Trust Center Settings on the right side of the dialog box. From there, select the Programmatic Access menu item. Set to Never warn me about suspicious activity (not recommended).
