I have the Surface Laptop 4 with AMD Processor.
I recently had a n issue with my Surface laptop’s screen flickering or going a solid colour from the bottom of the screen up to the mouse cursor’s location. If I moved the mouse cursor then the block would expand.
I temporarily resolved it by disabling the AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics under the Device Manager>Display adapters but this stopped the brightness from working and seemed to use battery faster as well as heating the machine up more.
I eventually ended up deleting the AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics under the Device Manager>Display adapters, which then installed the default Microsoft driver and finally installed the latest driver pack from Download Surface Laptop 4 with AMD Processor Drivers and Firmware from Official Microsoft Download Center to install the latest Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. – Display – 27.20.14078.1002 drivers.
